Python client for API v2

Python client allows you to easily integrate the ScrapingAnt API in your Python project.

Integration

scrapingant-client is the official library to access ScrapingAnt API from your Python applications. It provides useful features like parameters encoding to improve the ScrapingAnt usage experience.

It can be installed via pip:

pip install scrapingant-client

Start consuming API

In order to get API key you'll need to register at ScrapingAnt Service

The Python client's general_request uses the API v2 extended endpoint and returns a parsed response object. Check its API reference for supported arguments; direct API parameters are not all SDK arguments. For example:

from scrapingant_client import ScrapingAntClient

client = ScrapingAntClient(token='<YOUR-SCRAPINGANT-API-TOKEN>')
# Scrape the example.com site.
result = client.general_request('https://example.com')
print(result.content)
